I can’t believe someone made a movie where the scenes in which gigantic toy robots fight each other are the least ridiculous scenes in it.

The Penguin Concurs. That movie was much better when we fast forwarded through everything with Shia LaBeouf that was not mostly fighting robots.

I always have a hard time evaluating how worthwhile an actor is when the director is terrible and the script is awful. But he is not exactly covered with glory.

And that's pretty much how I watch The Phantom Menace. If it doesn't have Ray Park kicking ass, skip.
