I found the idea that "Many people cannot lose much weight no matter how hard they try, and promptly regain whatever they do lose...." as the New England Journal of Medicine claims somewhat alarming. When I was in high school and swimming for an hour or two every single day, essentially the time that I was absolutely the most physically fit I had ever been, I don't believe I made it below 220 or 230, ever. I still had a paunch.

The frequently incredible contempt some of the participants have in part #2 for fat people is additionally quite alarming.
